I'm selling my 1961 2-DOOR Ford Galaxie Club sedan with 148,525 original miles. Engine rebuild and transmission service in 2001 with less than 1500 miles on the cars since. Runs great. Interior needs work. New battery, brakes, wheel cylinders, re-packed wheel bearings, radiator re-furbished (rod and cord), new hoses, new belts and brand new exhaust system from the headers back. I obtained the car from my uncle who the original buyer. I have the original paperwork including, original sales receipt, original order form for the car, original warranty cards for the frame and "Kleer" cote, original pink slip, most of the registration cards since 1961 and the original repair manual. The car is in good condition and had been parked inside most of its life. The vehicle is from Southern California and remained there until 2003. It has VERY little rust and has original paint. Only in one accident prior to my ownership where the passenger side fender and hood were replaced with origninal parts. No rust on floorboards or trunk. Still has the original stereo which is not working. In 2005 I obtained a quote from a reputable local Auto Body shop (Tripps Auto Body) for the cost of repairs for the body work w/out paint.
