This car has never been smoked in! It doesn’t know what a fast food drive up window looks like! No Big Macs have been eaten here. Most mileage on the Interstate on cruise control. Normal wear on driver’s seat – others are like new. This car has rarely carried passengers. This vehicle has NEVER seen the inside of a Jiffy Lube or Pep Boys shop! Oil changed every 5,000 miles with Mobil 1 Synthetic or better. (VW recommends every 10,000). With 4MOTION and a set of four winter tires the performance in snow is AWSOME!! It is unstoppable! I am the second owner and purchased it from the original selling dealer. Heated and Power Driver and Passenger (Front) Seat! The windshield is free of pits & scratches – I have replaced it every other year. Brakes recent & tires good. Halogen high beams have been upgraded to Sylvania Silver Stars. Headlight lenses have been professionally restored & are as clear as new, and covered with an acrylic coating so they will stray clear. This is the only VW (other than the Phaeton) which has headlight washers. Very nice in slushy winter weather. This used to be standard on all Audis. Now it is an extra on even them. It is very sophisticated – it only sprays the headlights when the headlights are switched on (not when the DRLs – which are actually the low beams) are on. Always Garaged. New VW rubber floor mats 6 months old. Wheels aligned a few months ago. This vehicle was locally sold and serviced by Lakes Region VW in Gilford. I bought it from the dealership when it was two years old. After they closed it has been serviced by German Motorsports which is staffed by VW & Audi Trained mechanics who formerly worked on this vehicle at Lakes Region. They will attest to the meticulous care this car has received. The only exception to this is most alignment and balancing and some brake work has been done by Belknap Tire in Laconia. Three minor issues: The electric door lock has a minor glitch which can be lived with or corrected. Check engine light comes on due to emissions, but has been able to be reset to pass for previous inspections. Worst case scenario, it may eventually need a new catalytic converter. I have take this into account in setting the price. The engine alone (rare W8) is worth $3,000 and the inerior is very clean! The “W” of the “W8” front grill emblem is missing. Glove box light is missing. The glove box was replaced by a new one ( brand new from dealer - not from a salvage yard!) due to the latch breaking off. Replacement latches aren’t sold – only the entire assembly. Other than the above and a few chips and minor scratches this car is in excellent condition.
