1970 buick wildcat 2 door hardtop coupe. has 60k miles on a 455/400 trans. this car is VERY RARE. only 9000 and some 2 door hardtops were made, buick redesigned the wildcat for the year 1970 and it is the first year of the buick 455. Only buick stopped production after a few months because sales were down.. This car is my daily driver and has been for last 3 or 4 months. have no issues with it and it starts and runs great every day. engine has no leaks and does not burn any oil. transmission is 400 and shifts fine no issues. vehicle sat for a long time before i got it. i had to do alot of work to get it in the running driving everyday stage. will need an alignment it pulls to the left. otherwise i cannot think of anything it needs to make it keep performing everyday. just some time and little money... great winter project for someone... All fluids are new, has new fuel pump, filter, timing chain, distributor, plugs, wires, coil, water pump, hoses, aluminum radiator, thermostat, master cylinder, wheel cylinders front and rear(yes has drum brakes on front), brake lines, cd player, guages(oil,temp,volts), tach, light bulbs on entire vehicle, new dual exhaust from manifolds back. has a new drivers door window but is missing the leveling bracket or whatever its called so you have to hold it straight when you roll it up. The interior is all leather. Everyting besides seats, carpet, headliner has been taken out and dyed black. dash is perfect not one crack or rip. has 6x9 under front dash and 2 in the rear dash which will need to be covered or replaced. there was a piece of green house carpet set there when i got it but that was the first thing to go in the garbage. 6x9 spot in the middle of rear seat. door panels are in great shape. seats will need to be redone. Front is a bench seat with armrest that folds down, they are green leather and are not in bad shape there is a tear in drivers side front seat.. Carpet will need replaced there is a hole in drivers floorboard and over time the carpet because is ripped and falling apart around the hole in the floorboard.the hole was hard to get a good picture of but it is approximately 12 inches by 16 inches. easy fix. trunk has holes in it i included pictures. again easy fix. everything on this vehicle i have done myself besides bodywork and if you have any questions or want detailed pictures i can provide them. the major areas that need attention are the hood, floorboard, and carpet along with eventually fixing the trunk floor as well. the hood was in good shape before the guy i bought it from didnt latch the hood and was driving down the highway and the hood flew back. broke both hinges and bent the hood as you see in the pictures. i found hinges for it and a latch becasue it was missing. i've done alot of work and have countless hours working on this car. the bodywork is mostly done. someone had did it before i got it and did a pretty good job just needs whole car sanded down and touched up here and there to be ready for paint. i have all the emblems for the sides of the car. the ones on the trunk and hood were gone. someone spraypainted over every emblem, window, tires, chrome on the car before i owned it. it was 3 different colors so i rattle canned it black til i could get the bodywork finished and get it painted, back bumper will need redipped or replaced because someone spraypainted it mulitple times and the chrome is gone underneath. emblems will need time spent with to be presentable due to the spray paint on them. no major dents just minor dings and scratches. car is in great shape for being in iowa for the last 40 years, besides one hole in floor and the trunk. every piece of glass and marker light, tail light, plastic. is there in great shape Car is an original air conditioning car. heat and ac have been removed. somone before me had cut the ac lines and looked like somone took pliers to the back of the climate control deal and crushed everything and cut all the wires for the blend doors. could be replaced if had a donar car to take the parts off. i drive this car every day and i never hesitate driving it anywhere. odometer is at 59802 miles as of today but i drive it everyday so suspect it to be around 60k miles by the time the auction is ended. i do hold the right to end this auction at any time due to mechanical issues or car accident or anything else keeping me from selling it in the condition it is in today.
