Vehicle Detail
This classic Buick is a really great car and one you won't see at Car Shows but will get a look from nearly everyone you pass. The exterior color is rose mist with a white convertible top, spoke wheel covers and fender skirts. I bought the car from one of my job contacts October 1994, and worked on it until I brought it to the limit of my skill. We had many great times with it and won a lot of trophies at car shows. However, after 17 years, it is time for someone else to enjoy as I also have a GTA and a Seville Roadster that needs my attention. I have carefully preserved the documentation of the work performed. It comes with a 4 door '63 LeSabre parts car which is mostly complete and quite a few spare parts. The Buick lacks air-conditioning but is cool with the top down except for the hottest days. It is a joy to drive any place. Please don't hesitate to call or e-mail with any questions or pinpoint photos. Details: - The engine is a Wildcat 445-401 CID V8 rated at 300HP that is detailed and has correct engine decals. It was rebuilt in 1995 and has 2145 miles on rebuilt engine. The transmission is Dynaflow and very smooth. -Dual Exhaust -New Goodyear Narrow Whitewall Tires installed in 2009 -New Windshield Glass in 2009 -Convertible Top installed in 1995 and has no tears. Top motor in 2002. Unit is very quick, up and down -Entire interior looks great, no rips in upholstery as per photo, new original equipment heavy rubber mats front & back as well as the carpet being in good shape. The original radio is still in place but disabled. The seats are bench. -Sony Cassette AM/FM Cassette with Pioneer 3 way speakers and 100 watt Alpine amplifier that makes listening with the top down crisp and clear -The trunk is in very good condition with full size spare, Amplifier and Subwoofer are smartly mounted in trunk -The chrome is very good, but not perfect -It has a new heater core -Starts at first turn of the switch every time and runs extremely cool Issues: -The photos show the only 3 things that are imperfections. The right corner of the right side door has a rust bubble beneath the paint about the size of a fingernail. Also there is a small spot on the hood about half that size that has the same characteristics. The rubber all the way around the side windows on both sides needs replacing.
