Exterior Condition: The paint is in outstanding condition with no imperfections as seen in the photos. The exterior rubber and Trim are all in excellent original condition. All the glass is in excellent condition. The Front and rear bumpers are Excellent. Interior Condition: The Leather is in great shape. The seats are firm and comfortable and there is no wear to mention, the drivers seat, the passenger and rear seats are in perfect condition. The dash is in excellent condition with no cracks. The headliner is excellent with some typical minor fraying near the corners, very minor! The carpet is in mint original condition as are the original Porsche mats. The door panels are in very nice condition as well with no imperfections to mention . Overall the interior is in outstanding original condition and very clean and comfortable. The photos are very clear and accurate. Mechanical Condition: Mechanically this car is outstanding and the mechanics may very well be the strongest point of this overall exceptional car. The 5 speed Manual transmission shifts strong and smooth in all gears. The engine in this car performs beautifully with nice power and torque and no hesitation. The engine doesn't blow any smoke whatsoever, it runs exceptionally clean, starts right up very easily and sounds awesome. There are no leaks in the exhaust and it is smooth running at all speeds. The alignment is true with no pulling during braking and no excess play in the steering wheel. The brakes are strong. The tires are in great condition with about 80% tread life remaining. This car has many years of trouble free motoring to come. This car is 28 years old, However I would feel very confident in this vehicle on any long road trip and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere in the US from here. Accessories Condition: All electronics are functioning in the vehicle. The sunroof is the Electric type and is working perfectly, The tachometer, the speedometer and odometer are working properly. The clock works, the stereo is the original diginal blaupunkt with an original power antenna, it works remarkably well a very nice sounding system for original equipment. The climate control works as it should with good control. The AC blows fairly cold as all 911 systems do, it had service in the fall and still blows cold, no leaks! Lights all work well, along with turn signals, head lights, high beams, fog lights, brake lights, parking lights, license plate lights, etc. The car comes with a custom fit bra which has not ever been on the car yet . The dash does not show any of the signs of typical wear or shrinkage you normally see on SC’s and Carrera’s, especially around the A/C vents, they’re very nice, near perfect, see the pics! The front seats are pristine, no wear to mention, the leather is still soft and comfortable. The headliner is original and in excellent condition, just some very minor fraying near the sunroof corners. This car spent its life being pampered in a heated garage and was not exposed to the typical harsh sun you would find in the southern and western states! There is no wind noise to mention at high speeds, it’s very quiet for a porsche its age! The sun visors are very nice . MECHANICAL The 3.0 SC engine pulls very strong and sounds quite smooth and quiet . Absolutely no smoke on start up, oil pressure is excellent and the car runs at perfect temperature just above a quarter where it should. I drove this car several times in the past few weeks and it ran like a new car with no issues whatsoever. Factory Air Conditioning works as it should, please keep in mind that these cars never had very good air, it’s adequate at most but the compressor does kick on and it blows cold. The car runs and drives like it was a few years old, not 28 years old. Porsche 911’s are know to drive exceptionally well when maintained properly, this is a perfect example of that. It’s very quick and responsive, tight and agile. I have yet to find another vehicle that can live up to these standards that Porsche has set!
