Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 2000 Tacoma which I have loved for years, however now it must find a new home as I need more room. This is probably one of the nicest 4 cylinder, 4x4, Regular Cab, 5 speed Tacomas still on the road. I am the second owner of this truck, and the original owner is an old friend of mine. I have known this truck since it was brand new, and I have kept all records since I have owned it. I bought the truck at 91,000 miles and have put just over 45,000 on it in almost 4 years. I have done regular oil changes every 3K miles as required. Back in June, I had some major services performed. The check engine light came on, and it revealed that there was a crack in the exhaust manifold and that the head gasket had a leak. I had both professionally repaired at a shop in Jax, FL for $1,900 and I have the receipts to prove the work. Also, 3 weeks ago I put 4 brand new Firestone Destination tires on it. Needless to say, this truck needs nothing at all and will stay on the road for years to come. The A/C is ice cold, it has working manual locks and windows, CD player works, cruise control works, and interior is in excellent shape. Rubber mats have covered the factory mats since it was new so they are still like new. As is the steering wheel. As for the exterior, the paint still shines. It is 11 years old, so it has its share of scratches and a few small dents. The biggest dent is on the rear bumper where someone backed into me in a parking lot. Everything is still straight, it just pressed in the chrome a little bit. The shade visor outside the driver side window came off, and I have brand new ones for both sides which will go with the truck. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. On Aug-15-11 at 10:39:57 PDT, seller added the following information: After inspecting the truck again this morning, I found a small crack in the windshield on the driver's side underneath the windshield wiper, it is not noticeable when driving, but it is a crack. I have adjusted the reserve down $300 to accommodate it.
