Dragged this one out of the family barn a few weeks ago. Was my wife's and her sisters' toy while growing up. I cleaned everything up thinking that it might be worth it to fix it up... on closer inspection, I think it's too far gone to be cost effective. Maybe for someone else, or someone who has a good bike, but engine and transmission are bad, could use this. The body plastics are virtually destroyed. Mostly held together by wire and riveted metal. Rear brake does not work and the handle is broken away. The front brake works. Front shocks in the forks are completely destroyed. Tires are good and do not leak air. The seat is a replacement Travelcade seat in excellent shape. Fuel tank has a dent in it. Basically, I look at this as an engine and transmission, or as a MAJOR repair project from someone who might already have a couple others to scavenge parts off of, or who has connections to get the parts for cheap. Starts right up and runs perfectly I would say. I've ridden it through our local bush and trails a bit and it's a riot. Got tons of power and the high and low range works fine. It has electric start that my wife says worked when they were kids. The battery is obviously totally screwed and not worth it for me to replace to find out if it still works. The key switch works and I have the key, but the actual key switch is loose within the headlight housing. It's really rough. I hope I can get that across to you! ;) It is what it is... Not even a dream of a title. Who knows where it is. It is definitely NOT stolen. Sold with a bill of sale. Probably will never be ridden on public grounds again anyways. Local Pickup only.
