Up for sale is a 1963 Chevrolet Nova SS that has just been completely restored. The Vin. No. is - 30437N198847 The trim tag reads: 03D: Built the 4th week in March 1963 Style: 63-0437 - 1963 Chevy II Nova 400 2 Door Coupe No. 2101 Built in Norwood, Ohio Trim: 7-702 Black Vinyl Seats Paint: 900-25 Tuxedo Black Acc: F - Tinted Windshield C - Padded Dash M - Powerglide Transmission Z - Super Sport The engine is a 1970 Chevy 350 bored .030 over with a new high performance cam and 150 miles on it. New parts include Rod and Main bearings, Cam bearings, HV oil pump with bolt-on pick-up screen and steel collared driveshaft, 6 Qt. oil pan, .030 over pistons, cam and lifters, timing chain and gears, chrome timing cover, brass frost plugs, short style water pump, flex fan, chrome pulleys, headers and mufflers, plugs and wires, distributor with clear cap, alternator, battery cables, radiator and heater hoses, Edelbrock 600 cfm carb. with electric choke, Edelbrock 2701 Performer EPS intake, Edelbrock chrome valve covers, Edelbrock air filter, stainless steel see-thru gas filter, fuel pump and hoses, chrome thermostat housing, battery tray, motor mounts, V-8 frame mounts, acc throttle arm and clamps, seals and gaskets. The radiator is a like new 3 core Modine. The cylinders heads are 1970 Chevy camel hump heads with 63.305cc combustion chambers. The heads were completely redone with new valves, high performance springs, seals, hardened valve seats for unleaded fuel, keepers and retainers. The block was cleaned, mag, and bored .030 over. The crank was cleaned, mag, and turned .010 mains and .010 rods. Fuel is supplied with a new fuel tank with anti-squeak inserts, pick-up and float assembly, filler neck to tank hose, and upgraded from a 5/16" to 3/8" aluminum line from the tank to the the fuel pump. The gas gauge does work. The transmission is the original 2-speed powerglide with cue ball shifter.The trany was completely rebuilt with a new rebuild kit, modulator, front pump, shift kit, trany mount and torque convertor. Driveshaft is the original. The car was upgraded to 5 lug wheels from a 1965 Nova. The rear differential is a 10-bolt 3.08 gears with a new 10-bolt chrome cover and u-bolts. It was cleaned and inspected, primered and painted, and filled with new gear oil. It has the original manual braking system but has all been replaced with new componets consisting of shoes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, steel and flex lines, springs and clips, and the drums were turned, bead blasted, primered and painted. The suspension has new Monroe air shocks on the rear, Monroe Sens-a-trac on the front, 3" lift kit on the front, upper and lower ball joints, lower control arm bushings, loc-set for wheel alignment, control arm bumpers and strut arm bushings. It has the original manual steering with new parts that include pitman arm, inner and outer tie rods with sleeves, and wheel bearings. The wheels consist of Weld Draglites 15x7 with 60 series Mickey Thompson ET street radials on the rear and Weld Draglites 15x5 on Nexen radials on the front. The interior has the original seats redone in black crush velvet and new parts consisting of door panels, window and door handles, rear package tray, molded carpet, glove box, headlight switch, heater core, gauge cluster - oil, volts, & temp. trimmed in chrome, kick panels, vent handles, shifter boot seal, brake pedal pad, gas pedal pad and sill plates. The headliner is in excellent condition. There has been a complete new weatherstrip kit installed on the car. The body has a brand new 1965 Regal Red basecoat/clearcoat paint job done by a professional body shop in July 2011. New body parts consist of floor pans, center trunk pan with new braces, rear quarters, front and rear bumpers with new bolts, rocker moldings, Bowtie mirror, front and rear turn signal lenses, antenna with cable, rear window rubber seal, hood insulation, and key cylinder kit for the trunk. This car starts right up and is fun to drive. I have cleaned the whole bottomside of this car and painted it. The frame is in excellent condition. The shock towers are in excellent condition. The glass is the original tinted glass. I have over $20,000.00 invested in this car but the reserve price is well below that. This car is being sold as is with no warranty.
