I am selling my 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifiglio in excellent condition with extremely low miles. This car has always been stored inside and the condition shows it. In fact, the paint condition is far above average, still glossy with no damage and has just been freshened with both the front and rear bumpers just having been painted body color for a more modern look. The rear bumper was "tucked in" tighter to the body for a more sleeker look, at the same time. The interior, as well as the entire car, is super clean and has just had a freshening with new leather upholstery done on the seats. I added a new Nardi steering wheel and gear shift knob, along with a new Pioneer Premier sound system and new leather shift boot, to complete the upgrade of the interior.The top has been replaced, as well, with a new canvas style replacement top. It also has new Dunlop directional tires (205 55 15) with less than 2000 miles on them. The front brake calipers were replaced, along with the pads for all four corners, as well as the brake master cylinder. It also has just received engine work in the form of a cylinder head job with all new valves, guides, springs, gaskets, etc., less than 700 miles ago. In addition, the water pump was replaced along with the installation of a recored, high flow, three tube radiator, new fan blade, fan shroud and radiator cap. I installed a new Ansa mid muffler along with a new "stinger" style, non-muffler type tailpipe. Besides the repairs listed above, the list of new and replaced parts is as follows: new engine mounts, new wheel center caps, new thermostat, new wiper blades, new high flow air cleaner, new AC cooling fan, new spark plugs, wires, cap, and rotor, new radiator hoses, new fan belts, new battery, new intake boot, alternator, and all the gear oils changed for Redline synthetic oil. The window and hazard switches were also replaced due to the emblems being worn off the old switches. The car runs and drives beautifully, shifts flawlessly and the AC system blows icy cold. The car needs nothing that I am aware of, and it shows beautifully and you will surely win awards with it, as I have done, at local Alfa and other car club events. It is surely one of the finest examples you will be able to find anywhere. It is for sale locally, as well, and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells locally. I can and will assist in shipping arrangements at the buyers expense. Inspections are welcome and encouraged as can be arranged before the end of the auction.
