1989 Peugeot 505 Turbo. Four cylinder model, automatic transmission. This is your car if you are one of two buyers: 1. You want a project car and to rebuild and restore an unusual collectible. 2. You are a Peugeot collector who wants to add to your collection and rebuild or salvage parts from this 505 that is in good condition with the exception of the Brake pump and some electrics. I had this car checked out recently by a mechanic (a local European specialist) as there has been an issue with the ABS not cutting out after the brakes were applied. A new ABS sensor fixed the problem but a leak developed from the rear of the brake pump that they could not pinpoint and rectify. He verified that everything else on the car is pretty solid for the age with the exception of some electrical issues such as the sunroof, rear electric windows and various dashboard lamps. Once running, this vehicle will also require an emissions test. All other DMV paperwork is up to date.
