I just spent over 3 weeks playing games with the guy that won the auction on this car. Needless to say, he did not pay for the car, nor will he return phone calls. This has put me in a bad position, because I need to sell the car. I do not want to, I am in a position where I have to..... So with that being said, THIS IS AN AUCTION!!!!! Not a place for little boys and dreamers to play games! The car is an awesome investment, and a hoot to drive. If you win the auction, there will be a $1000.00 deposite due with in 24 hours. Payment in full within 7 days. Pretty simple stuff....... You can get the car whenever you want, or I will bring it to you, for a fee obviously, but it will be cheaper than the other guys.. Good Luck. I hope it goes to the right place. "Survivor" 1979 Camaro Z28 1979 Camaro Z28 74,934 original miles, Red with Black custom cloth int. 350 - 3:73 gear, close ratio 4 speed. I purchased this car from the original owner in May of 1998. Car is absolutely 100% rust free with all it's original metal and paint! All numbers matching everything! Interior is original and mint, no added tachs or gauges ever! I have lots of paperwork on this car, build sheet, title app., sales agreement, all booklets including; warenty, mant., tire, battery, owners manual, etc. Original keys, key tags and knock outs! this is a 2 adult owned Z28, that has never been wrecked, or painted! with all the docs. I had a very high dollar custom 406 small block professionally built for the car by 'AR Racing' in Virginia. I removed the perfect running original 350 and preserved it. Engine swap, exhaust, Griffen radiator, aluminum drive shaft and 'slide a link' competition engineering traction product, is the only thing added to this car. Everything has been very tastefully done. I bought the car to drive, and felt that it was too sharp looking and fun to drive to have a 170hp. 350 in it. So for my pleasure, I upgraded the engine, because I did not want to hurt the integrity of the original power plant by adding bolt ons. This car can be put back to its original state very quickly, and I mean right down to the ORIGINAL dual exhaust! The original engine and all original parts go with the car, including the orginal full exhaust! Here are some specs. on the 10k engine - Engine makes a very honest 510 hp. and 490 ft. lbs. @ 6800 rpms. And is bullet proof! This engine has only the best parts in it, custom 'solid cam shaft,' internal balanced forged callies 4340 crank, 4340 forged 6" rods with floated pins, custom forged 10.5 to 1 flat tops with ultra lite pins.... the list goes on. A ton of hours were spent on the aluminum canfiled heads alone, Team G intake has been ported also. Topped with a holley that was sent to the carb shop in California for blueprinting, where billet boosters were also installed, $500 for the tuning of the carb. MSD high output billet dist. ...$500 Griffen custom fit, "still use your orgin. top support," all aluminum radiator with 2 rows of 1 1/4" tubing, engine runs at 160 deg. Like I said, everything has been very tastefully done. The car is a sleeper. The best part is, is that it can all be put back to its original form very easily. Nothing was disturbed or hacked on this car whatsoever. One more thing.... this enging breathes through 3" full custom bent exhaust! With flow masters. Hours were spent on tucking this system in place. Also has a custom built aluminum driveshaft. Original driveshaft comes with the car too.
