Up for auction is a 1972 Malibu 350. This vehicle was in the process of being made a Chevelle SS Clone when I purchased it in 2005. The color is yellow and black. This item is kept and driven by a non-smoking driver. Descrepancies: Trunk key hole is missing (someone attempted to burgularize the trunk of the vehicle by punching out the key hole and didn't find anything). Dome light cover is missing. There are some minor scratches on the Cowl Induction Hood scoupe. I'm not sure if these scratches can be waxed and buffed out or if it would require re-painting. There are what appear to be some minor rust spots on both the driver and passenger side of the vehicle. They both are located on the lower portion of the fenders under the SS symbols (behind the tire - see photos). Reason for selling: I purchased this vehicle with the intentions on making it my everyday driver and project car to restore. Since deploying to Iraq with the Marines in 2008, I have not done anything with the vehicle. It has been stored in my garage since December 2007 with any restorations taking place. That being the case, I decided to sell this item and pass on the joy to someone else. I am an avid car enthusiast and hate to see classic cars being neglected. Since my current work schedule doesn't allow me the time and energy to take care of this beautiful vehicle, I am passing it on. My loss is someone else's gain. The were color matched to the paint by the previous owner. * The 350 engine contained is the Chevrolet stock motor. * Engine compartment is large enough to accommodate a Chevy Big Block engine if you prefer. * I have never listed this vehicle for sale on E Bay, AutoTrader Online, Craig's List, etc. This is the very first time the vehicle is being listed for sale in any forum. * I failed to upload pictures of the trunk and/or good pictures of the floors but there is not a rust problem in these locations.
