Vehicle Detail

1963 ss nova with clear title. Rare ss option only 1.13 percent of chevy 2 or novas in 1963 were ss models. The nova didn't come with a v8 until 1964, so yes it is a 6cly ss. Still has orignal motor ( 194 cu. inline 6 ) and transmission ( 2 speed powerglide ). Thing will cruise at 65-70 with no trouble Has been upgraded to disc brakes in front and newer rearend in back so everything is now standard 5 on 4.75 chevy bolt pattern verses the origanal 4 lugs. Has power brakes, manaul crank windows, good heater core, blower fan works but weak, wipers work, has box full of extra parts trim and lense ect. Motor was rebuilt 5 years ago still runs strong and starts eveytime quickly too! I have had it sit for 2-3 months and still start with an 8 year old battery. Has the petronix ignition upgrade on distributer. Never had any overheating issues and we live in the southern part of Texas were it at least 98 or hotter every day. Transmission shifts good and firm, I have neverhad it apart so don't know if it's every been rebuilt. Paint and intior has recently been done this year (2011). The extior is red sunrise poly base coat clear coat and the intear is tan made out of marine grade vinal. Has origanal bucket seats and rear bench. Comes with origanl radio, das has been cut to fit a cd player has ss cluster with clock, stock floor shifter. Has working headlight turn and taillights, the taillights can stand to have new lenses. The trim around the side glass has chrome bad in some places, floors are solid except for small spots in rear of trunk area nothing major. The rear wheels also have some issues. The last thing I know has problems would be the exaust manifold has a crack in in were it bolts to the head but has been there for the 6 years iv owned it and hasnt seem to get any worse. This car would make a great weekend cruiser for somebody Im sure, and I believe there isn't much you have to do to make it a daily driver if you like. The blue book value is somewhere upwards of 18,000.00 I do not wish for that much, I am resonable, just have to many cars to tinker with, with new projects seemingly showing up all the time I havent got the time the play around with this one anymore. Own a peice of history. This is the first year for the nova, truley a conversatin peice. Buyer is responsible for delivery or transportion ov vehicle. I have disclaimed everything Iv seen to be a problem to my knowlege. this vehicle is not tagged or have plates just driven " around the nighborhood". It is being sold as is, no warrenty and I am not liable for this vehicle once purchase has been made and is in transport. I will acept no trades nor will I take back after being in someone elses possesion.
