Up for auction is a 1965 Ford Mustang with a great running V8 302 and a factory 4 speed transmission. She is a turn key ride, that I have no problem taking anywhere. The car was just painted about 4 months ago to a Viper Red. She has alot of new parts on her, like a new seats, carpets, door panels,and other goodies too, plus she is a head turner that is for sure. This is a great classic car, an icon of the 60's! This car is an investment that appreciates... and in these tough times that is something worth noteing. She is a Daily Driver type car, with NO Reserve. The car will be sold to the highest bidder as the car will speak for itself!! There is NO RESERVE!! VIN/ DATA TAG: 5F07C660467... DATA TAG: 65A, J, 26, 06E, 72,1,5 ENGINE/ TRANSMISSION: The engine is a good running 302. The car has a 4v carb on her, with an electric choke. The engine has around 20,000 miles on her since she was rebuilt. The car has a new fuel pump, Elebrock intake,and had a recent tune up and complete fluid change. The car has an older dual exhaust system with glass packs, so it sounds pretty good! She is a great running car that you could drive and enjoy! The transmission is the original 4 speed manual trans that shifts perfect. The syncho's are all in good shape and you can run her through the gears without any issues! She was a Hurst shifter attached to the transmission also. The clutch, pressure plate and throw out bering were replaced about a year ago also and still have plenty of life left too. INTERIOR/ EXTERIOR: The interior is very clean overall. The door panels are new, the seats are new with no tears at all. The carpet is new. The headliner looks ok, as she doesn't have any rips but, she has some heat shrinkage. The dash has a new cap on her, and looks great. The windows all roll and down correctly, and the doors open and close tight with great body lines. The lights work all the way around the car, and the interior gauges work correctly also. The speedometer was working and just recently stopped.. the speedo in the dash turn, so I think the gear in the trans is worn out. The oil and Alt lights both function properly also. The radio in the dash turns on but, there are no speakers hooked up at this time. The exterior has fresh Viper Red paint from a few months back, and looks very nice. The front bumper is new, and the rear is very good condition. The chrome around the car is decent overall, with some new stuff here and there. Wipers work, and all the exterior lights work. The car's body lines overall are good, doors open and close well, and the locks work. The passenger side floorpan had a repair in the toe board part of the pan that was completed very well, and the drivers side floorpan was replaced and sealed up. The rear pans were just fine, and well as the shock towers, and torque boxes. The trunk has a few small rust spots also. Overall the car is very solid with the normal spots that were repaired in the past. The car runs and drives great. She also sports brand new tires front and rear. She drives nice and straight and she stops straight, even with drums all the way around. All the brakes shoes and hardware were all just replaced earlier this year too! INFO: The car is a DAILY DRIVER TYPE CAR!!!. The car is NOT perfect by any means but it’s 46 years old also. Please know this before bidding.
