Vehicle Detail
Have you been looking for a Toyota FJ Cruiser only to be let down because all you can find are base models or beat up high mileage trucks in yellow or black? Well this is the one you want to look at! This is my 2008 FJ Cruiser and it is loaded! This truck have just about every option as well as many aftermarket ones too. Starting with the specs, this FJ was ordered in the beautiful Sandstorm color with white roof which in my opinion, is the best looking color Toyota offers. The truck was ordered with a factory Toyota roof rack, running boards and spare tire cover. It came with 4WD, auto trans and many options. Some of which are the convenience package which includes the keyless entry, locking rear diff, A-trac, parking distance monitor, privacy tinted glass, rear opening glass hatch and rear wiper. Off road package which includes the 3 gauge pod on the dash with outside temp, vehicle angle, shift on the fly 4WD etc. Also included is the towing package with hitch, and sound package with 6 disc CD changer and rear factory mounted subwoffer with on off switch. The inside has Toyota factory rubber monster floor mats and matching rear cargo mat. The seats are black and in near mint shape. The rear seat has only ever had people in it 3 times. Again, near mint. The outside has some small chips here and there from road rocks, but really not more than 3 and not even visible. The only real damage to the truck is that there are 3 chips in the front windshield which have been there since 22,000 miles and have not gotten bigger or worse so I left them alone. 3 rocks hit the window, from a gravel truck in front of me and hit the window at the same time. bad luck, but again, it never got worse so I left it alone. Other than that, the outside of the FJ is really about perfect. I take very good care of my cars and baby the FJ. Originally this truck came from the dealer with the silver trim pieces on the bumper, mirrors and door handles, but following the purchase of the truck, I went to the dealership and bought all the trail teams black pieces for the exterior and converted it over. Again, the bumper trims, rear view mirrors, door handles front grille etc, are factory Toyota Trail Teams edition black parts and not spray painted stock parts. this expense alone was over $1000. Also at the same time I purchased the factory Toyota Trail teams Black 16 inch wheels. These are the real deal, not powdercoated over silver ones. These wheels are only available to Trail Teams owners so you won't really see another set on a non trail teams truck! I also purchased at the same time a TRD cat back exhaust and a TRD air intake kit for some better HP and response without being louder than stock. I am happy to say both of these upgrades were worth it and helps the motor breathe a little better. I also added a throttle body spacer from some faster throttle response and its really a great piece. I upgraded the suspension as well and after quite a bit of research I bought a Toytech coilover 3 inch lift kit. The kit consists of threaded body front coilovers with the required 1 inch diff drop and sway bar drop in front as well as lift springs in the rear and shocks. I also added Camburg upper spherical A arms to get the correct camber angle back after lifting the FJ. At the same time I added some new BFG AT KO tires and had the truck aligned. It rides super nice and smooth and that was my goal. It was never the plan to take it offroad and it never has been offroad. I like the look of the lifted FJ and thats what I went for. Smooth ride, nice stance and good looks. Now if you wanted to take it offroad, you are could do so and know it is set up to do really well on dirt roads and rocks. Inside I added a Sirius Satalite radio system thats wired into the main stereo so its fully integrated. I also added a Motorolla bluetooth hands free cell phone set up as well so you are totally road legal as well. There are other upgrades as well but overall you get the idea that this FJ is loaded. As for service, it has always been dealer serviced at the requested intervals, oil changes etc. I recently had the 75K service done which included the diffs being serviced, trans flush, oil change, filters etc. It got new plugs too. New brake rotors, pads and I bought new tires as well at 78K so the tires have less than 3000 miles on them. Lots of life left. Basicly the truck is dialed and ready for more use! Everything works like it is supposed to, no issues, full service history included, fully loaded and near mint condition with no issues ever. Finding a better FJ would be tough... My reserve is low and very fair. Don't settle for a lesser truck without the options of mine. Clean title in hand! no waiting, no stories, no empty promises with this one. I will even supply you with a full tank of gas!
