This vehicle is an original 1970 Ford Boss 302 Mustang. VIN # 0T02G121401, Build date of 10-24-69, Exterior color was Calypso Coral. Vehicle is now painted Candy Red. -We own and operate a GM, Ford and Mopar Muscle Car and Corvette restoration business in Scottsdale AZ. and are selling this vehicle for our customer. -We recently have made this vehicle fully operational after it had been stored in enclosed, dry, and protected storage for the past 6 years. -Recently it was test driven 50 miles in Arizona 105 outside temperatures in both in town and freeway driving with no problems. A. Originality: 1. “Born with” or correct original components are: -Body, hood, grill, doors and trunk lid, Engine cylinder heads (See Photo), Intake (See Photo) and exhaust manifolds, Engine pulleys, fan assembly, Transmission (See Photo) and shifter Radiator tanks and frame (See Photo), Radiator core was replaced with new best quality core this month. Differential, rear suspension, driveshaft, Windshield, side and rear glass, (some scratches and pits are visible); Seat belts, dash cluster, Space saver spare tire and jack 2. The following components are NOT the original items installed when the vehicle was assembled: -Engine block is an original 1971 BOSS 302 Ford warranty block (See Photo), Water pump, Fuel pump, and Carburetor. (Carb is a non-original service replacement 780-800 Holley, recently rebuilt (June 2011) with had meter blocks machined and any other work performed needed to make vehicle smoothly) Alternator, Distributor Coil (Distributor is a non-original Ford single point item, recently serviced and advance checked for best performance, June 2011) Starter, Front and rear shocks, (appear to be new); Exhaust system, (has turbo mufflers is new condition); Radiator hoses, (new exact reproduction parts 06-2011) Clutch bell-housing, (Vehicle is equipped with an after-market scatter-shield); Fuel tank, fuel tank sending unit, and fuel lines, (New exact reproduction items just installed 06-2011); Tires and Wheels, (has new Goodyear Polyglas F60X15 exact reproduction tires and new reproduction 15” Magnum wheels); Front fenders both have been replaced and are rust free correct , Interior, (dash pad, door panels, headliner, carpet and Black Rhino/Corinthian Vinyl front and rear seat covers are new high quality reproduction items that fit correctly); Bumpers, front and rear, (are good quality reproductions) B. Condition: 1. Body and Undercarriage Paint is a high quality two stage urethane repaint, good quality. 2. Body panel fit is good 3. Exterior trim is either new reproduction or original in good condition 4. All glass is original and in good condition, but some scratches and pits are visible. 3.Rust damage and its repair is evident in the front frame rails, the inner fender panels visible from under hood, the bottoms of both doors and in both rear wheel tubs 4. Rust is NOT bubbling through on the outside surfaces of the vehicle 5. Mileage shows 16,716, odometer is working C. Operations: The following work correctly: Tachometer, Speedometer and odometer, speedometer is accurate. Wipers, Fuel and Temperature gauges, Charging and Oil Pressure idiot lights, Park brake and Park Brake Light, All exterior, interior, courtesy, and dash lights; backup lights and brake lights; Transmission and clutch, (shifts and engages great). Differential is not noisy. Pinion seal is leaking. Brakes have high pedal and vehicle stops good. Steering and front suspension is tight but front end should have alignment. D. Operations: The following DO NOT work: Heater and defroster, Both horns, Clutch safety switch, After market radio. (Original radio is missing); rear license plate light, Interior courtesy lights through door jamb switch, (work fine through headlight switch); E. Engine condition: Good even compression, (recently checked) Engine cooling system in top condition. Vehicle engine temp did not reach 180 degrees yesterday, stop and go driving, in town in 105 degree Phoenix heat. Engine temperature was checked with infrared gun. Good oil pressure, 75 lbs at idle cold and 30 lbs hot. Checked with mechanical gauge. Starts easily, with timing at factory specs Minimal oil leaks Good power Car runs and drives great Starts, stops, shifts, goes as it should No road vibration under 65 mph. Some at higher speeds. F. Documentation: Marti Report verifies the following: 1. Original exterior color was Calypso Coral. 2. Interior is Black Vinyl Buckets 3. Differential is 3.50 Traction Lock 4. Options are Rear spoiler, Sports Slats on rear window, AM radio, Tachometer, Sport deck rear seat G. Summary: 1. This in an original 1970 Boss 302 Mustang that has not been re-bodied. 2. The Marti Report verifies its rarity and desirability. 3. It is in good running and driving order and has been recently serviced, checked over and road tested. 4. All hard to find components are original, other than the engine block (Warranty Replacement) and are as produced when car was assembled by Ford. 5.
