Selling my 1989 BMW M3 E30 with only 80k miles... See it featured in this months August 2011 Automobile magazine next to the new BMW 1M. New paint in original Diamond Schwartz color, new custom Recaro interior, new carpet, 16 Alpina wheels and more. Please see the many pics below. *Please note that the car is being sold with stock BBS M3 wheels and the Alpina wheel set can be purchased for additional $2000 for wheels and new tires. Amazing solid M3 with stock motor and stock transmission. Has some very upgrades such as aluminum radiator and Bilstein shocks. Paint was just refinished with windows out and all trim and bumpers removed. We used high quality PPG paint and clear coat. Body is straight and clean. Wing is excellent condition. Prior factory paint was faded and oxidized in spots. After the paint was addressed next was the interior. It is a very special interior and you probably wont see another one like it. Recaro is one of my favorite seats and wanted to make the interior very unique. First a set of new Recaro SRD seats were selected with new seat brackets with height adjustments. New old stock Recaro fabric was purchased from Europe at $1200 for a roll of the multi colored Recaro pattern. Very rare to find the oem fabric. The front seats and rear seats were all upholstered to match. Also, we custom made the door panels with the Recaro fabric sewn in the centers of front and rear door panels. Sorry dont have the stock seats or door panels. The seats are very supportive and hold you in place. People notice the interior is different immediately. It looks amazing. Also, the entire floor carpet was replaced with solid black carpet from an independent BMW supplier. Factory carpet is no longer available plus I wanted to go with the solid black and not the factory charcoal color. It fits very well but has some slight wrinkle imperfection along carpet wall under back seat. Very difficult to notice but I am very picky. The rear parcel tray was also recovered in black fabric to match. Car also received new rubber window seals front and rear and a new windshield. New battery. New Yokohama S drive tires on the 15 stock BBS basket weave wheels. She runs and drives beautifully. Very strong and healthy. Starts every time. Doesnt leak or smoke. Clutch is great with lots of life. All of the electronics are working. Lights, windows, sunroof, odometer, speedometer, and gauges. She does have a few small issues that I will note: reverse gear is a bit difficult to engage but works fine when in gear, radio on code, brake check light on, anti lock brake light on, AC is not cold (may need a recharge). During the repaint we have noticed some rust and a prior body repair to the left rocker panel. The rust was removed and treated. It is now repaired correctly. Clean title in hand.
