Vehicle Detail

I have decided to sell my last project car that was recently completely. This is a 1968 Chevy II Nova, the car has recent paint and Yanko striping. The paint work has been professionally done and finished with a beautiful wet sand and buff. The car was a very solid car to begin with. All steel with a 4 inch cowl harwood fiberglass hood. The car was built as a street/strip car with a 427 big block Chevy. The engine is a 4 bolt 454 block with a 3 and ¾ inch stroke GM steel crank with standard bore TRW forged pistons with 3/8 dimple GM rods. It is equipped with a flat tapit hydraulic cam shaft (street/strip light nitrous grind) The heads are close chamber pre 1967 rectangular port iron GM heads with comp cams roller tip rocker arms, they have had a beautiful port job done to them. It is topped off with a edelbrock air gap dual plane intake and with a brand new demon 750 double pumper carburetor and new nitrous kit. (NEVER USED) The engine is freshly assembled and runs fantastic. The cooling system consists of a aluminum radiator with a thermostat controlled electric fan and it has an aluminum water pump. It is fired a MSD 6AL ignition box which is coupled to a MSD pro billet distributer firing through new taylor plug wires. The transmission is a iron cased borg warner t-10 with a lakewood blow proof bell housing and new dual friction center force clutch disc pressure plate and throw out bearing. It has a hurst competition floor shifter. The fuel system consists of a 10 gallon fuel cell, barry grant filter and new holley blue electric fuel pump with number 8 braded fuel line front to rear. The rear in the car is a 9 inch ford, I was told by the previous owner that it is equipped with a detroit locker 411 ring and pinion, it is equipped with moser axel spine size unknown. The car is equipped with competition engineering drag shocks on all four corners. It has stock suspension with slapper style traction bars. The car has GM style disc brakes on the front and drum brakes on the rear with line lock. The car previously was certified as an 8.50 8 point roll cage, it was done very nicely tig welded I believe it was mild steel. Will be no problem for re-certification if necessary. The car is equipped with 2 inch black ceramic coated headman headers with new flow master mandrel bent 3 inch exhaust 40 series flow master mufflers exiting the car. The wheels are crager pro stock edition aluminum wheels, 8 inch rear with new 275 60 Mickey Thompson drag radials 3 ½ inch front with radial front runner tires. All electronics in the vehicle lights ignition etc. are controlled by a switch panel, I believe it is an ACR brand panel. The battery (interstate gel filled red top) has been relocated to the trunk of the car and features a shut off switch. The interior is in excellent condition with factory style buckets seat in the front, newly replaced head liner and full rear seat. To sum up things the car is a very tastefully and professionally automobile with countless hours and dollars invested. When I build a automobile, I build it for I I do not take short cuts. I will consider selling the car turn key or rolling. The car is available for viewing at anytime. For questions please do not hesitate to call me at (301)-252-3097.
