Vehicle Detail
1956 Bel Air Buyer is responsible to wire $1,000 non refundable deposit with in 48 hours of auction close. The remainder amount is to be paid with in 7 days of auction close. I will accept a deposit through Pay Pal but buyer will be responsible for the fees they charge me for putting the funds into my Pay Pal account. You are welcome to call me and talk about this at any time. Thanks for understanding. This Bel Air is a 3 owner. I have bought this vehicle with intention of restoring it 100% but don't have the time till winter. So if the auction does not get where I want it, than I will stick with my original plan and restore it completely. So if you are looking for one that is completely finished, than call me and we can work something out. I restore vehicles professionally mainly in the winter months to escape the cold. My Business name is Smoke'm Restoration. I plan on restoring it to the orginal paint scheme which is Black and an Off White just like the interior. My asking price for it fully restored would be $22,000. The interior has just been completely redone back to original black and white. Carpet is brand new. All gauges work except gas gauge. All windows work, and crank smoothly. Even the Vent windows in front. Drivers window is cracked and so is the windshield. All other glass is very clean with no scrathes. Door panels are all still original. Rear passenger grab handle is the only one that needs to be replaced. Other wise interior is flawless. The exterior has of course been repainted. The body is in excellent shape given the age. I took a picture of the rust so you could see how minor it is. There is the same amount of rust on the other side. It is only surface rust. Nothing major. There is only one dime size dent on the drivers side fin on the top edge. I also took a picture of it so you could see it for yourself. I did not want to hide anything from the possible buyer. Engine is the original 265- 240hp 8cylinder. It was rebuilt 18,000 miles ago. Absolutely no oil leaks. They came with two engines, one was a 210 hp, the other was a 240hp. Of course this is the bigger engine. This classic car drives amazing. The carb is a 2 barrel Edelbrock. Not the stock carb. I put this on to give it more performance. Much improved. It still has the original Generator and works great. Exaust has just been replaced from manifolds to rear. Both exaust pipes have glass backs on them, with Stainless steel tips. All lights work. Like I said above everything works besides the gas gauge. 3 of the tires are brand new. The other is a spare but still 100% tread. So if you are interested in how it is now than bid reasonably or make me an offer. If you want something fully restored just let me know and I would love to make a contract with you and proceed with the full restoration. My number is 406-270-4173. Thanks for taking the time to look at this classic car. Chris Hogan.
