1999 Chevrolet Tahoe Z56 two wheel drive police package. Equipped with the 5.7 litre fuel injected interceptor V8 engine, with automatic transmission. This Tahoe was purchased on Ebay a few months ago from a dealer who got it from a northern California government agency. Low original California miles of 79,821. The truck is in overall good to excellent condition with normal wear inside and out and runs excellent. I have driven this over 1,000 miles since purchasing it and used it for my most recent move and it has no problems. It runs excellent, it's easy to drive, and is very comfortable and safe. This is a fully loaded Z56 Chevrolet Tahoe equipped as follows: 5.7 litre fuel injected V8 engine with 130 m.p.h. police speedometer Automatic transmission New Tires mounted on factory police package wheels and caps Dual air bags AM/FM radio Air conditioning (needs a charge) Power driver's seat Power steering Power ABS brakes Police push bar to the front Power door locks Tilt steering wheel with factory cruise control Power windows and mirrors Rear window defroster Since purchasing the vehicle I have had all the fluids changed (engine oil & filter, transmission, rear differential, power steering). It has had a 4 tires replaced as they were dry rotted and not safe for highway use. It has also had a new water pump and radiator installed with a cooling system flush. The Air Conditioning had been working very well till recently and now it has leaked all of the refrigerant out which I suspect is a bad “o” ring somewhere near the radiator as I’m sure the dealer had to disconnect the A/C lines to get the new radiator installed. I charged the system with R134a about 2 weeks ago and the A/C worked fine for about a week and then started getting warmer and the compressor was cycling more than it should so I suspect a leak somewhere but, since I have no further use for this vehicle and the apartment complex where I now live has limited parking space I have decided to sell this vehicle. The outside of the vehicle shows the normal wear of a used fleet vehicle with a few minor dents and scratches along with a couple of roof holes that have been plugged where the light bar wiring and antennas had been. The Spot Lights are disconnected but all the parts and wiring is there if you wish to reconnect them. If you have any questions please contact me and I will be happy to answer them.
