1970 Jaguar E-type XKE Convertible- Pale Primrose (Yellow) / Black Interior This car was purchased in 1998 from the Barrett- Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, AZ buy the previous owner- he wanted a TOTALLY RUST FREE CAR and it was and still is RUST FREE. He then spent loads of money to get it restored. I have owned it for the past 10 years.This is what you get, some he did, some I did: 4.2 Liter Dual Overhead Cam Engine- rebuilt including custom cam shafts 5 speed Manual transmission- 4 forward/ 1 reverse- works good not sure what he had done 3- 2 barrel Weber side draft carbs mounted on new manifold 6 Iridium Spark Plugs Magnecor Ignition Wires Mallory Optical Trigger Distributor Mallory Hi Output Ignition Coil Mallory HyFire IVa Ignition Module Tach rebuilt to handle the high output ignition system. Speedometer Rebuilt Custom paint job ( he spent $8-10K) Optima Battery Heavy duty Aluminum radiator with dual cooling fans Kenwood Stereo/ CD (app 2 years old)and 4 Alpine speakers- hidden antenna Poly Bushing front suspension SS brake lines on front 4 Custom spoke wheels ( I believe Stainless Steel) for size 205-55/16 (they look great and improve the ride and handling) Single wire oversize alternator. Sport steering wheel Original Steering Wheel included ( totally restored to like new condition) New Starter All rebuilt Air Condition parts and new compressor (needs hoses and charging to complete) Original Shop Manual Owners Manual Lots more that I forgot about. Will include original Manifold / 2 Carbs, Alternator , starter and lots of extra parts. Also lots of Technical Info, manuals books,etc. Weber tuning tools (2) 4 Pirelli tires however, they look great but are dated and should be replaced, I did not replace as I believe tires to be highly owners preference so you pick what you want. What it needs: Tires, AC hoses and charging, fresh gas and a good run to keep the carbs running good. Why I'm selling: I recently retired and my wife and I are moving out of state without adequate room to keep the Jag (it has always been garaged). I have owned the Jag since 2000 and have not had a lot of time to really enjoy it, I probably put less then 2000 miles in 10 years going to shows, club function, etc. I will consider all reasonable offers, look at pictures and ask questions, what you see is what you will get.
