i am listing this car for a friend what we have her is a pretty decent 1957 chevy 2 door post belair. this car is a running driving car. it has a mild built 350 chevy engine with holley intake, edelbrock carb, healthy cam headers with nearly new duals. it sounds good. it has a 4 speed manual tranny with a good clutch. the whole drivetrain is solid brakes seem to work good it has a 10 bolt with possi. it has aluminum wheels with decent bf goodrich radial ta tires. i think it could use a carb cleaning as it does pop sometimes when you get on it cosmetically the car is ok it had an amatuer restoration at some point the worst part is the drivers side front fender. and the floors have been patched. the interior is actually pretty nice it is all black it has buckets in the front. the drivers seat has a seam coming loose good carpet headliners and such. both door windows are cracked but still intact. as i said before it is a running driving car that would make a great resto project. i am listing this for a friend so please contact me for further detail and i will get the answer for you. if you are interested it would be best for you to come look it over in person which can be arranged if you are serious i will be glad to give you his number so you can talk to him directly vehicle is being sold as is no warranty we encourage all buyers to come and look at it if possible before bidding this is not a show car but is a good solid foundation and can be driven as is shipping or pick up is the responsibility of the buyer On Jul-25-11 at 19:03:28 PDT, seller added the following information: i forgot to mention that some of the chrome will need refinished. the reserve is 7000 we will not end the auction earlyOn Jul-25-11 at 19:08:57 PDT, seller added the following information: also if you have less than 5 feedback or excessive negative feedback you must email if you plan on bidding we dont have time for spammers
