Vehicle Detail
Quality restoration on a 49 Willys Jeep. Restoration was finished about 5 years ago. I'm selling this for a neighbor who no longer has room in his garage for it. Cranks the first turn, and runs, drives, and stops like a new one. Absolutely no rust that I can find. If any rust repair was done, it was done right, because it can't be seen. I removed that little aftermarket steering wheel, and put the nice original wheel on it. There is also a boatload of extra parts that go with it; original tires & wheels, a complete soft top and frame, with the doors (windows are bad), the original air cleaner, a jerry can, and a front fender. 4x4 high & low seem to work fine. Good tight steering, and doesn't shake, or wobble all over the road. I don't know what has been done to the Jeep mechanically, but it does not growl, whine, grind, drip, or overheat. Lights all work. Already converted to 12v Clear title in-hand Speedometer does not work, and the dash pocket lid has a homemade latch. Emergency brake works poorly. ALL BIDDERS PLEASE READ; This vehicle is sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty whatsover, except that if when the buyer arrives to take posession and a major misdescription is discovered, I will refund the buyers deposit, no questions asked. This does not include cosmetic issues. All bidders are encouraged to personally inspect this vehicle, or send a representative to do so, or hire a local mechanic to look it over. I will facilitate this in any way I can. I have bought and/or sold many vehicles on eBay, so I know what it's like. I don't want any surprises on anyone's part. The successful bidder will make a $500.00 deposit by verified PayPal within 24 hours of the end of bidding. The balance is due within 7 days, and may be by cash on arrival, check, or bank-to-bank transfer. Bidders with zero feedback need not bother, unless you contact me first about your interest. I can, will, and have prosecuted bogus bidders. I can hold the vehicle up to 30 days following full payment. I also have a good place to load, and will be glad to assist your shipper, if you use one.
