Vehicle Detail
The time has come for us to sell The Ultimate Classic Family Wagon! This gorgeous, 4-door Lark wagon turns heads everywhere we go--from trips to the supermarket to local cruise-ins and car shows. With the original roof rack and brand new tires, this car is the ultimate in both looks and practicality. Best yet, it offers a smooth and comfortable drive both around town and on the highway! Pop this baby into overdrive and enjoy long cruises on the highway with confidence. We have made several 200+ mile trips around the states in comfort and class. Everyone who has driven and/or ridden in this car raves about how fun it is to drive around in! The original paint is thinning, but has a lovely patina that lends to the vintage feel of the car. The interior is the original red Regal trim. It has been very well cared for over the years and even has the original headrests. The car is extremely clean for its age and has been maintained smoke-free. The radio works and the original spare tire and jack are still in place. All of the glass is good. The speedometer has recently stopped working, but it appears to simply be a matter of the cable needing to be replaced. The driver's side floorboard is intact, but thinning. It will eventually need to be replaced. The headliner is in excellent condition, but has pulled away somewhat near the rear window. The window lace will eventually need to be replaced. The exact mileage of the car is unknown, but we do have vehicle maintenance records on the car from the original owner. We will also include any odds and ends that came with the car or that we have collected for its use. The car's original owner drove and pampered it for almost 40 years, and it has been cherished by several other Studebaker lovers since then. Its picture has also been featured in several issues of Turning Wheels magazine. We would be glad to furnish additional pictures if requested. Car is sold as is with no implied warranty. Car is available to be seen by appointment. Please contact seller if you'd like to arrange a time. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick-up and shipping. We will be happy to assist in loading the car. This vehicle is listed for sale locally. Seller reserves the right to end auction early if car is sold prior to the close of auction.
