This is a completely restored body shell, all rust and damage have been repaired or replaced. The car recieved new Dynacorn quarter panels and roof skin, The body shell was media blasted on our rotisserie with plastic media. The new body panels were welded on with our new liquid cooled spot welder at the factory locations, Its difficult to see the car was ever worked on it looks so original! Hundreds of hours of quality bodywork labor have been expended on our frame rack bring back this true piece of american muscle car history.
This is a original R code drag pack Mach 1
The body shell was media blasted and all of the rust and damage was removed, this required major recontruction of the shell, all feature specific to drag pac cars and R codes were preserved including the staggered shock crossmember and HD shock re-enforcements, all factory VIN stampings are in place and so is the original VIN tag up on the dash. All body panels have been test fit several times during the body restoration so the lines (body gaps) are very nice, maybe even better than when the car was new.
The car was primed with Dupont direct to metal epoxy primer inside and out, the primer was tinted red oxide.
The car was block sand and primed twice with 3 component urethane high build primer and is now ready to paint. the door hings have all been rebuilt.
The floor and wheel ares of the car were sprayed with a urethane seam sealer kind of like a bed liner but more flexible, the product is new to the market and very expensive, it offers the utmost in corrosion protection, it was then topcoated with the Alcapoco blue car color.
All bodywork was done on our frame alignment machine, the car body panel lines are real nice. the doors were skinned and the shells were primed with the skins off for corrosion protection.
The body could be compared to a "dynacorn" body, BUT ours is better because:
1: More more complete
2. Much better panel alignment
3. Correct spot welding done throughout
4. Higher quality primer
5. Our shell is bodyworked, block sanded, and ready to paint
6. Our body has date codes and part number on various panels
7. Our body is a real mustang
8. Our body is a Mach 1 R code, drac pack car
9. Clean transferable title and marti report proving authenticity
10.Our body is much more original, and shows quality craftsmanship

Some of the other notible new parts include, both torque boxes from american designers, both truck floors and taillamp panle, rear filler deck panel, and the radiator support.
