Vehicle Detail
This truck is the ideal truck for anyone who wants an absolutely reliable commuter vehicle, a truck that can carry the family (not in comfort if you are not a kid who likes the jump seats) in a pinch and wants 25+ MPG too.The OBD II reads perfect every time, no emission or power train faults at all; does not burn oil, or smoke etc. It starts up absolutely every time, regardless of outside temps. The transmission and clutch work great. I just put in a new set of 4 gas shocks - no bounce or dip. Tires have plenty of wear to go.It has alloy wheels that are in great shapeNo leaks to stain the driveway. There is no rust, this truck was made during the time when all the manufacturers were in love with galvanized metal for everything. It has some bings and bumps but no accidents (Its a Pickup, not a limousine). The cap does not leak, there are no cracks or cuts in the liner. It also has the slide through windows so you can carry long pieces of lumber. The Cap side windows also open and have screensThe A/C is not working as intended - it DOES NOT leak, the low side pressure is matches the high side. You will need to replace the orfice tube ($1.89) which requires a discharge and recharge of the system. I've been fine with the flow through to the rear cab window, keeps me plenty cool. This truck has dual airbags (could not select this option for some reason). It also has a child seat passenger airbag bypass switch.Don't even consider the mileage as an issue, it spent its entire life with its original owner as a commuter truck in NJ. I am the second owner have used it back and forth from NYC to PA.I don't know if the previous owner smoked, but I don't and it hasn't been smoked in for the past few years that I have owned it, and there is no smell of smoke.Reason for selling=two drivers, 6 cars (patient wife). All of my kids are out of the house since my youngest joined the Army 2 years ago, just procrastinated since insurance is so cheap and I obviously like cars and trucks - the truck and my wife's Pacifica are our only "normal" vehicles.Again, this is great for someone in need of a very reliable easy to maintain and very economical versitile truck. Please email any questions. You can also arrange for a test drive (in the evenings) if you would like too.I wasn't disappointed when I got it, have not had any disappointments with it, I don't expect the highest bidder to be disappointed.I will be available all week if you want to take a test drive. However I will be leaving Friday to go to Georgia for my son's homecoming from Iraq. The winner would have to pick it up after we come back. If I get an acceptable offer, I can end the auction early, but you would have to close the deal by Friday.Best wishes
