I am the second owner of this stunning all original 1995 XJS. Purchased from the original owner in June 2007, ( a retiree in Shawnee Mission, Kansas), it has been an amazing addition to my collection for the past four years. I am the co-founder and first President of the Jaguar Clubs of North America (JCNA) Tennessee chapter...Music City Jaguar Club. I have been collecting, restoring and showing different Jaguar marques for over 25 years (including E-Types, Series I Sedans, Series II XJ6's, XJS's etc) concentrating mainly on those styles and years I find most attractive and desirable. After a period of time enjoying and showing a particular car, I am happy to pass the car on to a new owner for their pleasure and enjoyment. I am currently making room for a Mark IX, therefore, am offering my XJS for sale. This outstanding example of a late series XJS has the very reliable, trouble free, yet powerful 4.0L. It has a very desirable color combination of Flamingo Red Mica with Limestone leather interior and boot. It has been driven approximately 2,009 miles, primarily for occasional Sunday pleasure drives, routine maintenance, and to various local and regional shows where it has won many "Driven Class" awards. The entire interior, boot, hood (convertable top), and trunk interior is championship concours level condition. With the proper cleaning and detailing, the engine compartment would easily be concours level as well. The exterior is exceptional for a driven 1995, but not flawless. The bonnet has the expected road nicks, given the design of the car. The air dam is in outstanding condition with the exception of a small scrape at the very bottom on the passenger side, but not very visable. There is a small nick near the driver exterior door handle, a nick on the leading edge of the driver door edge, and two small nicks at the rear passenger side back-up light lens. There are a few very small imperfections here and there, but barely detectable except for a concours judge. All of these can be fixed if desired, but do not detract from the overall outstanding condition of the paint and body. It is what some would term a "ten footer", in other words, not noticable except upon close inspection. There is absolutely no rust. The engine is strong and runs beautifully, but the most thrilling experience is at highway speeds. There are no apparent issues with the engine or infamous Jaguar oil leaks. The transmission is flawless in each gear. All guages, electrical and sound system work fine and as expected. According to the original owner, rountine service and oil change was performed at approximately 63,000 miles. This outstanding example of a late series 1995 XJS is totally original and absolutely beautiful. Below is a summary of additional information the interested buyer would want or need: 1. Comes with factory correct floor carpeted floor mats over carpet. 10. Convertible top and rear window, leather interior, carpets, console, dash, trunk, leather boot are all concours level condition. Exterior body and paint are amazing for an unrestored 1995 and could be classified as "Driven" class award condition. In response to several questions, please note the following: The car does have heated seats, both driver and passenger, along with 4 way power positions, power lumbar adjustment and two seat position memory settings, both driver and passenger as well.
