1970 Chevy C-50/C-60 with flatbed that tilt/dump or has winch. We have used this truck occasionally (rarely) on our property since buying it about 7 years ago. Last driven on the road a little over 5 years ago, but driven around our lot recently. Has Chevy 350 with double hump heads, 2bbl carb. 5 speed manual with 2 speed rear end. Decent rubber tread, but now getting a little old from years, not miles. This would make a neat car hauler, it is not a roll-back but a tilt bed, the back edge of the bed will tilt to the ground. the bed has steel plate over wood. Hydraulic winch, works but does not have the power it once did. We used this to pull crated tractorors (appx 9000lb) out of shipping containers, onto the bed of the truck and then tilt to lower to the ground. It takes a lot to pull a 9000 steel crate without wheels and sharp corners that dig into the wood bed of the container, so it was a very strong winch at one time. We had trouble a couple years ago when it wouldn't pull the tractors, we discovered a broken piston and had one made, new seals, but still won't pull so I think the pump just does not have enough for our use. I would expect it can pull a car or truck or tractor up on the bed, so long as it is on wheels. Body has minimum rust, someone put all new stewart warner gages in so no idea on miles. I paid almost 4000 for this truck 7 years ago. for whatever that means. We used it on the road twice, once to move a tractor, once to move our dealership. there is a problem with the hydrovac brake booster, after 3 or four stops it gets real touchy, then another tap or two on the brakes and you have to open the bleeder valve on the booster to get the brakes to release. for this reason we never used the truck for what we bought it for but I don't think it would take much to get it on the road if someone was more motivated that we have been. It will start and run enough to load onto a large trailer for hauling but don't plan to drive it home without installing a new hydrovac first. Have Georgia title signed into our company name, our company has a dealer license so we can sell our UTV and ATVs, so easy to reassign to new owner. I think this will part/scrap out for more than the starting bid so if it doesnt sell here this time, don't expect to see it again, at least not all of it in one piece! thanks for looking!
