Hello and thanks for viewing my auction. First let me say that this vehicle is all original. I do not use that term loosely. This rare find has its original paint, original interior, original engine, original transmission, original wheels, original wiring. etc. If you know classic VW you know it is almost impossible to find an early beetle with the same engine it left the factory with. Not to mention almost everything else it left the factory with! This beetle has certainly lived a charmed life in ideal climate situations. She has been driven less than 50,000 miles and runs strong as ever. She does show signs of aging such as small parking lot dents and such, but for her age I would give her high marks. The interior does have the usual headliner age staining but that just adds to the uniqueness and originality. The more you observe the car the more you notice details like original glass, original head lights, original rubber, original hardware and the list goes on and on. This is truly a hard to find car. There are tons of very nicely restored vintage VWs at shows and on the street but how often do you find an original car with all its original parts intact? You can spend as much money as you want to restore a vintage VW but no amount of money can replace original! Unfortunately words and a few pictures cannot express the significance of this rare vehicle.
