Due to two non-responding buyers this truck is once again up for auction. $300 deposit due within 48 hrs of auction close, balance due in ten days. Well Used but runs great! NO Reserve Will be donated to charity if it doesn't sell. I'm the original owner and in the interest of full disclosure these are the items that are wrong with this truck. - There's an Exhaust Manifold bolt broken off, this is not uncommon in this era F-150 and the bolt will be needed to drilled out of the block and replaced. It doesn't affect the operation of the truck or engine it just makes it rumble a bit. - Anti-lock brake system hydraulic sequencing valve is inoperative. Brakes work fine in normal mode and brake system has been operting this way for 5-6 years. - Left tailgate hinge is broken. Tailgate still opens and closes fine you just have to be careful when operating the tailgate. - Two stone chips and one ten inch crack in windshield. - Heater / Air Conditioner Fan only works on High and Low setting, middle two settings are inop. Heater and Air Conditioner work fine, it's just the fan. - Lower drivers door skin has some rust, see picture. The truck runs great and has plenty of miles left on the tires and brakes. Four Wheel Drive system worked the last time I used it. Seats had seatcovers on them their whole life so they're not worn out or ratted. Kelly Blue book values this truck in the mid $3,000 range. I've discounted it for the items listed above. Vehicle can be made available in most of lower Michigan in addition to the Chicago area.On Jul-20-11 at 08:07:49 PDT, seller added the following information: Folks, I've answered numerous questions about the condition of this truck and some have been asked as though it might be a three year old cream puff, it's not. It's an eleven year old truck with over 255k miles on it. I've tried to describe it's shortcomings as completely as I can. There's been no accidents or damage, no engine or transmission work other then normal maintainence, it had a full tune-up about 35,000 miles ago, (on a 100k recommended cycle), the rust on the drivers door is the most significant, there's some small surface area rust on the leading edge of the hood and on the roof just above the windshield. The rocker panel Nerf Bars are rusted. The bed cover is a velcro type that is secured in the rear by bungee cords as the locking mechanism is broken. There is a bed liner. The interior is not ratted out but is in need of a cleaning, (I'll try to get some pictures of the interior posted). By all means, ask questions, just understand it's an eleven year old truck with 255k miles on it.On Jul-22-11 at 16:11:43 PDT, seller added the following information: As per bidders requests I've uploaded a couple of pictures of the interior, the plastic floor trays have been in the truck since new and while the carpet is soiled around them it's in very good shape underneath. The device under the ash tray is an electronic trailer brake controller and since the question will undoubtedly be asked, it was used only a handfull of times for short distances so no consistent heavy hauling was done with this truck.
