For sale: 1975 Porsche 914, 1.8L Mid-engine, 5 speed transmission. I purchased this car in non-running condition several years ago from an older gentleman that had it in storage for 15+ years. This car was equipped with Fuel Injection from the factory, and some of the components were missing. To get the engine running I purchased a brand new EMPI two barrel carbureator and manifold which I installed on the car. I retained all of the original wiring/ computer so it could be converted back to fuel injection if you track down the rest of the components. The car has brand new clutch and flywheel, new two barrel carb/manifold, new fuel pump, four brand new tires, all new/rebuilt brakes, aftermarket exhaust, infinity speakers with a new Kenwood head unit. I got the car to a road worthy state and drove it around, it handles great. The car developed an oil leak that I was not able to locate the source of with the engine in the car, and it does not charge. I have not looked into these issues any further, and I stowed the car away about a year and a half ago after losing interest in the project. Body is in great condition, no major issues to speak of. Car has factory targa top that removes and stores in the rear trunk. Interior is all there, some rips in the driver's seat. Mileage reads 62, 574 but the speedometer cable end is broken, so the mileage is not accurate.
