Up for auction is my prized 1973 Dodge Charger SE Brougham and really hate to sell, but I really have too many projects right now (so she says). Car is extremely collectible and worth more in parts than as a whole, I have been told the SE Brougham package is rare. I have had this car for about 6 years and drove it consistently two hours back and forth to my moms' without any trouble. It is all original as far as I can tell and all complete. This car really has some power and would like to see someone restore her to the way it needs to be. It has what I believe to be 129,731.9 miles on it and does not really leak anything from what I remember, has a little black smoke at first start-up, but fires right up, shifts, brakes, and drives well. Runs GREAT with a lot of power. Has a 400 engine in it and a new Edelbrock 1407 carburator that actually doesn't get too bad of gas milage for a big car. Clear TN title. I got a whole lot of looks and a lot of questions on what kind of car it was and if it was for sale. As far as driving and being reliable, I cannot say enough, but there are a few problems... First of all, the car is rusty and has a few dents. I have seen worse but it is not a show car and worked as a daily driver for me. Rust holes in trunk floor, front and rear fenders, and the floor boards in front. Small hole in rear floor boards where rust holes around opera windows have been leaking. The roof is in decent shape and when the windows are repaired the vinyl roof will cover any imperfections. Seats in front need recovered, back seat stitching at top is letting go. Gas guage, speedo (not odometer), driver outside handle, passenger wiper linkage, air conditioner and radio inoperative, radio comes on but does not play. Might need a few bulbs here or there, and the battery is not the greatest. Has a little wear in pitman arm bushing, needs new exhaust pipes but manifolds all seem tight. Has new master cylinder, Edelbrock 1407, starter, and alternator, along with other recent parts that I am sure I am missing. With this car, I have a pickup truck bed full of parts. There is a fairly complete passenger door that is a little beat up but has a good window, door hinges, wiper motor, arms and linkage, 4 rubber bumpers, front braces, hood gasket, sway bar, inner fender pieces, charcoal filters, original Thermoquad carburator, and some other parts that I don't know what they are. Along with all this there is some Firebird taillights and parts and some rare 1968 El Camino bed top trim. All the parts in the pictures go with the car or you could recoup some money back by listing them yourself. I have had a lot of questions like " will you sell me parts off of the car" or " what is the least penny I would take for that old car" ...things like that. I have listed it on Ebay to sell it as a whole and as described. I will not end the auction early to make a side deal or anything like that, tired of those inquires too. If I cannot get what my start bid is, the car is worth the money to me as a second driver. In other words, if I saw a car like this for sale and I didn't have this one, I would buy it. Will not deliver and I need full payment in cash in person before I sign over the title. Sold as is. I would like it to all be finalized with a serious buyer and not about to play games with anyone.
