The history of my 1969 Judge RAIII 4-speed: Judge was purchased in 1969 and sold to the second owner in 1974. The second owner drove it until 1976. It sat until 1980 when I purchased the car and restored it. I had the engine rebuilt (bored 60 over), fiberglass quarter panels installed (metal panels not available) and repainted car in lacquer. I finished the car in 1982 and drove it till the fall of 1985. I then parked it in my grandparents barn and joined the service. At some point in 1986 someone stole my wheels and tires, battery, hood tach, carburetor and glove box door. They started taking out the 4-speed but never got it. Every year for 26 years I have been going to take it out and restore it again. I just have to many toys and not enough time. Present: The Judge will need to be restored, it has not been driven since 1985 and started since 1990. The front fenders will need lower patch panels. The doors seem fine, paint has flaked off passenger door. The fiberglass quarters will need to be replaced with full panels. (I have photos of the quarters under the fiberglass) The left side of the trunk panel will need to be replace as well as the hood and trunk lid. The floors seem ok (see pictures). I removed the carpet in order to take pictures of the floor pan. The dash pad is original and has a small crack. I have the ram air pans, stick shift, drive shaft and a carburetor from a 1968 GTO. I purchase the wheels and tires at a swap meet (only 2 hold air) tires are old and will have to be replaced. DATA PLATE: Carousel Red with Black Interior. 72 Paint Code & 258 Interior Code. Block: WS 0367228 Heads: 48 Cast Number, Date Codes: H188 and H158 It does have a posi rear with 4.11's. The body tag is : ST 69 24237 FM 64369 BDY TR 258 72 72 PNT 01D On Jul-26-11 at 17:27:33 PDT, seller added the following information: I sanded down the vin stamp area of the block (it is pitted from a little rust) and from what I can make out it reads " 290 1285?? ". I don't know enough about it to determine if it is the original block. I do know it is date code correct.On Jul-26-11 at 17:36:21 PDT, seller added the following information: it could also read " 29G 1285?? " it is hard to tell.
