For sale is an untouched, original and complete 1962 Chevy C-10, 1/2 ton, 6 lug, Custom Cab, Big Window, Fleetside, Longbed with original biased ply tires This was the top of the line model...all of the Custom Cab exterior trim is on the truck and in very good condition for it's age...came from the factory with Stainless Grill, front and rear chrome bumpers, front bumper guards It appears to be still in the original white paint, never repainted-the bed had a camper shell on it ..as a result, the bed itself, especially the tailgate is amazing straight and rust-free- The original wood plank bed floor is intact-the boards can be removed, then use a belt sander or planer to flatten the crown on each one and re-install--- The motor looks like a late 70's crate motor....haven't checked the numbers.....engine turns over very strongly but doesn't fire-likely needs in new coil in the HEI..or replace that with an old style distributor The truck comes with a Powerglide transmission, still in the truck, condition unknown The entire Dealer installed A/C system is present and looks to be bone stock Bought another excellent bench seat core that is very clean that is included....has the Custom steering wheel, new windshield, even functional spotlights! Please read the following very carefully......because the original cab, doors and one of the front fenders had very typical rust issues, I have purchased and will include replacement parts for each one that are straight and rust-free! Buyer will receive an additional, very solid cab;... 2 extremely straight and rust-free doors; ... a rust-free front passenger side front fender and.... a very straight hood in addition to the one on the truck! This is a great project that allows the buyer the opportunity to build essentially a rust free 62 at a price comparable to others that need extensive rust repair expenses I have taken pictures that are of the original truck....keep in mind that everything you see that has rust or a dent is being replaced by original parts collected Feel free to write with any questions
