Vehicle Detail

detailz-detailz Store Description 1966 Mustang Convertible This is the most rare Mustang produced for 1966! There were only 3150 Mustang Convertibles with a bench seat. This Mustang is a true Survivor Mustang. It has all the original sheet metal, no floor frame or trunk work done ever. It has all original equipment and it is a very nice original. The quarters are all original and I cannot find any body filler on the car at all. It is straight and clean. The paint is an old repaint that is in decent shape but not show condition. It rates about 7on a scale of 10. It shows well and will be certain to make anyone proud but it is not a show quality paint job. There are some nicks and bumps. No dents or scratches that are apparent that I can find. The car had a Zeibart treatment done to it years ago and it really did preserve the body. The front bumper is starting to peel and I have a picture of that. The windshield has a chip on the passenger side that can be repaired without replacing the windshield. The interior is clean and nice. There are no rips or tears and the carpet is nice. It is original but nice and clean. The AM radio turns on but it is not working properly. The lights, turn signals, brakes, and all the dash controls work. It is a good running and driving car. I have put about 100 miles on the car and it is a fun ride. Everyone looks and makes comments all the time. There are service records in the dash and proof of the mileage. This car was in Daytona Beach Florida most of its life. It came north to Maryland in 1997. This is a great color. It is not the common red color that you see on so many Mustangs. It is more of an orange color. The code on the car is the following: It was produced on September 23, 1965 in Dearborn, Michigan It comes with a 200CID 1V 120 Hp 6 cylinder Engine It is a convertible with standard interior. It is Signal-flare Red paint with Parchment with Black Trim Bench Seat It has a 2.83:1 gear Ratio Rear End I am the listing agent for this auction and I am a good friend with the owner of the car.
