Up for auction is my 1979 Ford Ranchero. I bought this car from the original owner 2 years ago. Until then the car spent its life in the Santa Barbara area of California. When I picked it up, I brought it to Northern Nevada. Therefore, this is a rust free example of the last Ranchero. Only thing I've done to it since I got it was add the magnum 500's, 8-track to iPhone stereo system, and a 3G alternator. 8-track works. Other than oil changes, I've never popped the hood. Runs great and is very dependable. Paint looks to have been redone in 2005 with a moderate pearl. Interior, paint combo, gold pinstriping, and steering wheel put the "RANCH" in Ranchero. Paint has some blems here and there but overall very nice. STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW. Car appears to be an original black car but repaint was done extremely well. HIGH RESOLUTION IMAGES HERE! Oil pressure is very high, car has good low end, and NO lifter tick. Motor is 351M. Odometer reads 135,000 so I am assuming this motor was rebuilt to factory spec by the previous owner. Motor compartment is all original looking. Shifts great. This is by no means a 100% perfect car but it sure drives and looks great. AC belt is off but all the gear is there. Interior could use some touch up. Car could use a headlight switch since sometimes they flicker and the power windows could use some adjustment but they do work. Horn doesn't work and tires are a bit old. Other than that, a solid car. Please see my feedback and previous auto auctions, I practice full disclosure and tend to undervalue my stuff. As I always state, you should know your way around these cars before bidding.
