1985 Honda Nighthawk

I WENT TO THE DMV TODAY, JULY 7TH, 2011, I HAVE THE PAPER WORK TO THE BIKE!!, THE EXACT COST TO REGISTER THE BIKE AND BRING CURRENT TO 2012 IS 527.00 IF YOU REGISTER IT IN CALIFORNIA....I FILED FOR A DUPLICATE TITLE SHOULD TAKE ABOUT 3 WEEKS i bought the bike from a friend that moved to ohio after splitting up with his girl friend, he bought it from a guy in huntington beach, ca. when i bought the bike from my friend he didnt have the paper work and i was promised it awhile back, told me that he had paid the registration fees and it would NOT be more than 200.00. this was a few years ago,2005. since than the bike remained in storage. i recently sold the bike to a guy in california, all was good until we found out that it would cost over 600.00 to bring current! i had told the guy 200.00, i give the buyer a refund and selling the bike again, all this to find out the history of the bike. IF YOU WANT TO BUY THIS MOTORCYCLE I BELIEVE THAT IF YOU REGISTER IT OUT OF STATE IT WONT HAVE THE CALIFORNIA FEES FOLLOWING IT, PLEASE CHECK TO SEE IN YOUR STATE, I JUST DONT WANT ANYMORE PROBLEMS, I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE BIKE BACK ON THE ROAD INSTEAD OF TURNING INTO A PARTS BIKE IF STILL INTERESTED, NEW TIRES, NEW SEAT, NEW BATTERY, NEW TURN SIGNALS, 6 SPEED TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTH, BRAKES SMOOTH, ALL THE LIGHTS WORK, HORN BEEPS, GAS TANK AND IGNITION SAME KEY, THE BIKE WAS STORED FOR AWHILE, THE CARBS NEED A GOOD CLEANING, IT STARTS UP AND RIDES BUT MISFIRES, I KNOW IT RAN GOOD BEFORE BEING STORED SO THAT TELLS ME ITS PROBABLY BAD GAS, ALSO THE TANK HAS A LITTLE RUST, SO IT NEEDS ALSO TO BE CLEANED, THIS IS A GREAT SPORT BIKE THAT IS COMFORTABLE TO RIDE AND FAST! THE SHAFT DRIVE WORKS GREAT AND IS VERY QUIET, THE SHOCKS WORK GREAT WITH NO LEAKS, A LITTLE TLC AND YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT CLASSIC HONDA NIGHTHAWK, THIS BIKE IS ALWAYS BRINGING BACK MEMORIES WITH THE OLDER RIDERS... SO AGAIN, PLEASE DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU PLAN ON PAYING 650.00 DOLLARS ON BRINGING THE REGISTRATION CURRENT OR REGISTERING IN A DIFFERENT STATE OR USE AS A PARTS BIKE, I WILL GIVE A BILL OF SALE AND A STATEMENT OF FACTS TO THE WINNING BUYER, THANKS I AM HAVING TO RE LIST CAUSE OF A NEGLIGENT BUYER THINKS IT S OK TO BID AND NOT PAY!! PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DON NOT HAVE THE FUNDS!!!
