Vehicle Detail
Mechanically strong with some minor fluid leaks. Body in better than average condition for its year (Please see photos). Upholstery has some slight stains but good except for driver's seat. Windshield and rad just replaced. Dash has a couple of cracks. This vehicle is far from pristine but looks good from a short distance. Front tires brand new - rears about 60% tread left. A very reliable transport. Please call me at: 250.804.3739 if you have any questions. Thanks! On Jul-13-11 at 11:38:44 PDT, seller added the following information: I have the max # of photos in listing so can't upload more. If you give me your email I will send photos of the underside. Frame is sound. Body has rust as shown in listing. Vehicle starts instantly once glow plugs have cycled. Normal puff of grey exhaust starting a cold engine but none thereafter. No abnormal engine noise - typical diesel "clatter" for this engine's technology. A/C works well. Drive train is strang and reliable, shifts smoothly and stays in gear. Transfer & 4WD have no issues. "Weeps" would be a more accurate description than "Leaks" other than, with a full fuel tank, parked on a steep incline (nose downhill) a very small amount of fuel leaks overnight - from the flexible coupler, I think. Never requires any oil to be added between changes. I don't really know the source(s) of the fluid weeping. It is damp around the bellhousing area. I am the second owner. When I bought the vehicle 6 years ago it had 140,000 km (88,000 miles) and minor rust around wheel wells. I had that metal replaced and painted but paint was blended in. The rest of the vehicle has original paint. This vehicle is very strong and reliable mechanically. With aboslutely no B.S. I would have no concerns about setting out in this vehicle to any destination on this continent!
