This is an opportunity to own a beautiful 1955 Chevy, 3100 series, stepside pickup truck. It is the second series truck Chevrolet produced for this year. This truck is totally original, to include the engine and transmission. The only exception being that it was repainted over the years. The original color of the truck was also green. Old truck enthusiasts will agree that the body style of the 1955 Chevy stepside is considered to be one of the most highly sought after classic trucks for owners and collectors. The odometer reads 91K miles, but I do not know the actual miles. The body is very straight and does not have any signs of rust other than your normal surface rust typically found on the under carriage of these old vehicles. All the floorboards are solid and do not need to be replaced. Below are some of the truck’s features: Engine: original 235 straight six cylinder Transmission: original manual with three speed on the column Rebuilt carburetor New battery Original radio Built-in clock (optional) Trailer hitch A set of four moon-style (small) hub caps original to the truck I just had the truck serviced and it runs and drives smoothly. Drive this truck to and from work or you can restore it to classic show condition. Either way, she is a beauty! Note: There is a small scrap on the top of the right rear bumper and a few small dings on the truck, but I consider them to be very minor and not worth fixing. Secondly, the original material on the seat is worn, but the springs are in great shape. I purchased a seat cover as an interim solution.
