Up for sale is my 1980 Mercedes 300 SD turbo diesel. Great candidate for vegetable oil conversion. Black with blue interior. Original exterior color was cream. I have owned this car for about 4 years and driven about 10k miles. I have spent well over $8,000 in maintenance and restoration during that period. Interior is in outstanding shape! Dash has no cracks! Wood is perfect and is in as new condition with no delaminating (see pics)! Carpets are new. AC and heat works, as it should. Tires are almost new. When I bought the car it had rust on the body in the usual places. It has been repaired with the proper steel patch panels. No bondo or Mickey Mouse quick fixes on body! The paint finish is matt-flat, like a hot rod (very cool and modern). Has been garaged kept most of the time I have had it. Period correct BBS wheels. Original wheels are included. Entire floor of the car has been coated with truck bed liner and dynamat has been installed to keep noise level down. Service records available for your inspection and a copy will come with car. Oil Pan gasket Front wheel bearings Fuel Gage sending unit Cruise control amplifier Fuel Shut off valve Antenna Mast Tires Dynamat installed on floors Dynamat Hood liner Window switches rebuilt or replaced Minor attention is needed for the following.....Tachometer is not working, Radio is not hooked up, Rear passenger window works but is slow, Trip meter sometimes sticks, Sometimes idles rough, Rear seat is in just ok shape, Hood release works but has come un fastened from it’s attachment point under the dash.
