***THE GOOD***---THIS LIGHTLY USED '95 GMC VANDURA 3500 EXTENDED CARGO-VAN has 72,000 original miles -- It was first owned and operated as a Culver City Parks & Recreation Sprinkler-Maintenance Vehicle (and routinely serviced by the city). As the second owner, I used the van as an urban-gypsie stealth mobile-home for 4 years in Los Angeles (during which time it was only minimally - and quite carefully - driven) -- NO ACCIDENTS -- Good condition -- Well maintained -- Good tires -- Recent major tune-up -- Strong 8 cyl. fuel-injected engine (small) -- Solid, problem-free transmission and drive train -- The cargo-bay is surrounded by security-screening, has built-in utility shelves & cabinet, and houses an auxiliary battery / inverter which provide 110/120V electric power (both items purchased new 3 years ago and only occasionally used since then) -- The van is equipped with a heavy-duty roof-rack & a left-side pipe-carrying rack (which can also be used as a catwalk for roof access) -- The cargo area is protected by heavy-duty side and rear-door security locks and has ceiling insulation -- There is a heavy-duty rear bumper with trailer hitch -- AC -- AM/FM Stereo -- 3 year old security alarm system ---- ***THE BAD*** - Right-front wheel gromet makes minor noise when breaking to stop (last 3 years) -- battery drains out if engine not started for 4 or 5 days (cable quickly & easily disconnects/re-connects to preserve charge) -- minor rust on roof-rack -- a few small body-dings -- missing passenger-side seat-belt (assembly is in place) - paint is old and slightly worn around doors -- ***BOTTOM LINE*** --- Good solid-runner, will give reliable service to tradesman operating on a shoe-string, or provide a "stealth" urban-mobile-home which will fly below police radar and go undetected in the city. This LOW-MILEAGE, well-preserved older van is valuable, reliable transportation for someone on a budget. DON'T PASS THIS E-BAY BARGAIN BY.
