This is a mechanic special! Someone broke into the van and tried to steal it from the mall. The ignition was busted including the gear shift, which prevented the thieves from shifting it into gear. The thieves stuck something in all the key slots, and the car can be only locked and unlocked with the remote now. The drivers side rear vent window lock was broken to gain entry into the van, so this needs to be replaced. I had the steering column replaced and drove it home. However the mechanic did NOT hook up the steering column right. When you turn the key to the off position something continues to run which drains the battery. The battery is dead and the van needs at least two new tires. It ran great before this happened the motor and transmission never gave me any problems. This will have to be towed.
