Hello folks, It is with great sadness that I have to sell my fathers truck. He passed away in 1986 and I have had it since. He spent countless hours with friends of car clubs to build this thing. I have had it for the past 25 years. I restored it back in 1996 but as you can see in the pictures, it will need to be done again. My father had done a complete frame off restoration. I will describe it as best as I can. He had an A frame from a nova and a rear end from an impala installed. Tilt and power steering from a camaro, and a 350 engine with a 400 turbo Tranny. He designed it for power. He also had an under dash AC installed. Hoses are now disconnected. I went in in 1996 and had a machine shop redo the engine for horsepower. I had them change the cam, lifters, pistons, the works and convert it to Mallory electronic ignition. It cost me about $2800 for the engine upgrade back then. I installed a B&M racing shifter. Paint job is cracked, and some clear is coming off, has a little rust, so it is going to need a paint job. It has a sunroof and sunvisor. This truck is a great truck for someone to really enjoy fixing. I need to sell it to fix the foundation on my house. It sucks to sell it for that, but I have no choice. I just recently installed a new gas tank, sending unit, fuel pump and rebuilt Edelbrock carb. All fender emblems, grills, headlight covers are included but will need to get rechromed. Bed wood also needs replacing. It is not expensive to replace the wood, it just takes time and commitment, and I don't have that anymore. It has wide N5015 tires on the back. The back seal on the transmission where the yolk is is leaking a little. I park it in my driveway with its rear up so it doesn't leak. Again, It really burns my stomach to sell it, but it needs to go to a better home that can pay attention to it. My mother is alive and does not know that I am selling it, so she is probably going to be very hurt, but I am sure in the long run, she will understand that my father would want someone to restore it, and show it off like he did. It is definitely a cool looking truck. I have seen many out on the roads of California, and boy do they looks mean on the road. Please do not hesitate to ask questions.
