This will be a very affordable, safe second car--or a lovely first car for a cherished family member. Very sporty. Great color combination. Cosmetic Impressions Keeping in mind that this is an eight year old car, the cosmetic condition both inside and out is excellent. The exterior has no dents or significant scratches to mar its appearance. The paint is very shiny and fresh. Both front and rear bumpers look fresh. Badges are new. Some minor rash on the alloy wheels, but still very nice. Overall impression of the exterior is of a well cared for two or three year old car. Grade A The interior is very solid for miles traveled. Only negative are a few rubbed spots on the dash from where the rubber coating has delaminated. Seats, carpets and console still look fresh. As the photos indicate, the car was used gently and there are no signs of rough treatment. Grade B Mechanical and Driving Impressions This is where the car really shines. No noises or strange behavior. Power from the turbocharged 4 cylinder engine is abundant. Saab enthusiast know the the 2.0 is the engine of choice. Recent synthetic oil change and new fuel pump. After the car was returned from demo service, we drove the car appoximately 75 miles and found it to be very easy on gas, and quite entertaining to drive. Handling is excellent from the front wheel drive under-pinnings. Braking is sold, and acceleration prodigious as already mentioned. All electronics work as specified with the exception of the radio, which needs a replacement amp. If the car reaches our target price, we will repair this item at no charge. Tech center on dash is fine, with no other obvious mechanical concerns to report.
