1968 Triumph Bonneville

This is a project bike that was running and driving 5 months ago. It has been sitting since the battery went bad and I took the carbs apart to clean them. At this point I just want to sell this bonnie because I have two other bikes and no time to put into fixing this one. This bike needs work to be road worthy. The carbs still need a through cleaning and a few odds and ends need to be tightened up. I have a NJ title in hand. It is in the name of the old owner since I have not registered it in my name and, as far as I know it is clear. The title reads 110187 miles but that was from the old motor I was told. I researched the VIN and found that the frame is a 1968 Bonneville but I think the engine is a 70-72 750. The markings "T14OV" on the motor indicate its a 5 speed 750. I was told from the dude I bought it from, the motor was rebuilt not long ago. I could have just been a swap, a 750 into a 650 frame but Im just not sure. This bike is being sold as is, I am no expert on Triumph history and cant be sure of the exact motor. I do know that I was riding this hog around my neighborhood about 5-6 months ago. It ran pretty smooth with no smoke or stalling issues. It kind of broke up at the top of 3rd gear. I figured this was due to the carbs being dirty so thats why I took them apart. I have a box of parts that comes with this bike. Like I said it was up and running not too long ago so I have all the parts to keep it together and a few extras i.e. bars, side covers and seat. This old Triumph is a real unique bike that you dont see everyday. With a little love it could be a real head-turner out on the open road. It was mistakenly titled as a 1968 so I headlined this listing as 1968 Bonneville. Sorry for the confusion, I just learned this.
