This auction is for a 1940 Chevy Master Deluxe Sedan with a Ford 9" rear-end, 289 V-8Ford Motor and 4 speed manual transmission. This car needs a lot of work...but there's a lot there to work with and it has a lot of potential. The tires are new...the body is all there with the exception of the running boards. It will need all new glass. There are some interior dash parts missing. The floor pan will need replaced. The trunk pan has a couple of bad spots but can be repaired. This vehicle is definitely in restorable condition. This would make an awesome Rat Rod! I DO NOT KNOW THE ACTUAL MILEAGE OF THIS VEHICLE! I put 75,000 on the description because it requires a number. We do not know the condition of the motor because it has been setting in a field since the man who owned it passed away in the 1980's. One had said it was a 9" Ford rear end...the other said it was an 8" Ford rear end. Unfortunately, this is something not in our area of expertise.
