Sleek six-cylinder two-door coupe. Runs smoothly, shifts perfectly (might as well be a brand-new car). Seatbelts for five. All original, except for its four almost-new Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires--Grandma's safety upgrade. Everything works just as it was designed. Fuel-injected V6, automatic, cruise control, driver and passenger airbags, power everything. Dolby stereo. Cold AC, warm heater. Plush fabric seats. Huge trunk. No leaks or squeaks. This is a lifelong Denver car. That means something important for you east-coasters and mid-westerners...you may have never seen a car like this: NO RUST. Did I mention that this T-Bird has only 35,966 actual miles? The odometer has never rolled over. This car has only been driven 35,966 actual miles, ever. The bad: Grandma liked her stickers, so there are some tiny scratches in the clearcoat on the C-pillars and trunk where she picked off some old stickers. You can see in the pictures that there are a few bits of Denver Bronco and AAA bumper stickers remaining on the rear bumper. The eBay/Experian Auto-Check shows a police report 9/14/02. I don't have any idea what that was about--unfortunately, I can't ask Grandma. There some white paint-transfer streaks along the lower passenger side where it looks like someone may have scraped a parking lot post. Other than that, I can't see any signs of accident damage or accident repair anywhere on this beautifully preserved luxury sportscar. The ugly: Absolutely nothing is ugly about this car. This is a super-super clean specimen, an un-modified classic 1997 Ford Thunderbird, in almost the same condition as the day it rolled off the line. It looks beautiful, it runs and drives exactly as it was engineered to do--perfectly.
