What you will be bidding on is a 1999 Ford F150 pickup W/4.6 Triton V8. This truck shows it's age and so it should with 200,000+ miles. She has been used but not abused as my work truck for many years as bridge carpenter. Most of the miles have been racked up as highway miles, with a few trips to the east coast. This truck has a few issues that will be addressed here. It needs ball joints on the drivers side as they are dry and squeaky. There is some rust starting that can be seen in the photos. The universal joints should be replaced, but are still passable.The air conditioning no longer works. The bearings went on the compressor so I removed it and replaced it with a bypass pulley. I could not justify the cost as I was about to sell the truck, and wanted a runner that could be driven home. The rear tires are in very good shape, but the front tires need to be replaced.Although the brakes work fine, there is an issue w/ABS. The light stays on, but has been on for many miles. The service engine light has been on for many miles as well with no consequences. Now for some good bits: Bed is in good shape with just wear and some dings. New alternator just last week. New serpentine belt and idler pulley. Window regulator for the pass side just replaced. With the normal oil leaks for the mileage, the engine does not blow smoke while running. Occasionally, there will be a little whiff when starting. but that is it. Trans shifts through the gears perfectly and pulls great.Could use a flushing though after this many miles. Interior is not ripped up, just normal wear. Good spare. I am selling her with a very low reserve, full auction, no buy it now pricing will be given.
