1999 Volkswagen Passat Turbo - Sunroof - Nice Stereo - 120,611 Miles I am relisting this car because the winning bidder did not leave a deposit or even come to look at the car. Strong motor and tranny - no leaks, smoking or slippage. Goes to the highest bidder in "As Is" condition. AC IS NOT WORKING. Drives fine, but if you push hard on the gas you get a clunk from a weak tranny mount or motor mount. Drive it normally and there is no clunk, and the tranny shifts fine. The car's onboard computer needs to reboot (car sat for a while and the battery was dead). It needs to be driven sometimes 100's of miles to reset the onboard computer - I don't have the time to do this. Since it is a necessary part of NY State's inspection, I am selling it in "As Is" condition. Tires and brakes are good (the right front tire has a small bubble on the side wall). The full sized spare is good. Drive it home. Not a bad runner. Because the car will not pass inspection unless the computer is rebooted... New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy.
