Vehicle Detail
Hi i have for sale a rare 1981 dodge d50 pickup. It has 105,368 original miles and the milage will change because i drive it around the farm. Overall the truck is in good shape for its age for being 30 years old. It has a 4 cyl motor and a 5speed manual transmission. The truck should get over 30mpg but ive never checked it. I drove it over a 100 miles home last year from a sale when i bought it and It will start right up but after you drive it for a little while it will die now like it needs a fuel pump or something and i dont have time to fix it or take it anywhere so im going to let it go. I have 5 other trucks and was going to use this one for driving back and forth to town. It probaly needs a new fuel pump or something simple. My loss is your gain. The truck is being sold AS-IS and will need to be picked up within a week after the auction is over. I live in nw missouri zip is 64455. A $250 deposit needs to be paid to holmes_curtis04@hotmail.com after the auction is over Im not looking to give the truck away so there will be a reserve and this would make someone a nice mpg truck to drive back and forth to work or school. Thanks! On Jun-28-11 at 15:48:47 PDT, seller added the following information: Ive had a few emails asking if you can drive the truck home. You will have to trailer the truck back home because of its dieing issue. The truck will run for a period of time and then it will sputter and die like its not getting fuel. The only other owner of the truck was a very old guy and left the truck sitting for along time and he died and we bought it at his estate sale. It could be something simple like bad gas from sitting so long, fuel pump or catlytic converter plugged up or needs a new carb. We drove it around 100 miles from kansas to home until it started sputtering and died and after you wait awhile it will start back up. Ive just been driving it a little here and there on the farm and its mainly collecting dust in my shop.
